ORGANIC FRESH CUT FLOWERS
ONLY SOLD LOCALLY
NOTE: November 15th. Marigolds are still shining bright yellows and oranges in between the young avocado trees. Sometimes the colors remind us of Summer's abundance. It's pretty incredible how many perfect stems we have been harvesting from the plants, how abundant and amazingly shiny they are, and this right before the winter rolls in to slowly accompany flowers into dormancy.
Marigolds are the last flowers I grew this year. Most seeds and bulbs have already been saved over the last month or two. Cover crops and fall bulbs are being planted. Lessons have been learned and mistakes have been made. Yet most importantly we have enjoyed the growing of beauty and we are so grateful for growing flowers organically and bringing high quality blooms to the Central Coast . Thank you for supporting our small family farm and flower operation in 2022 through our seasonal bouquets. Stay tuned for more updates about Traceland's 2023 growing season. We are currently planning next year's crops and getting ready for the spring! See you in March 2023 with more blooms! Amélie |
